3ds To Cia Converter
Converter has been failing me to convert a decrypted 3DS file to CIA.I use it to convert the injected MegaDrive/Genesis 3DS ROM file to CIA.It works perfectly with the JAPANESE version of the 'emulator', but for some unknown reason, it does not work with the EUROPEAN version of the emulator. It creates the CIA, I install the CIA, but when I try to run it, it gives me the black screen 'an error as occurred'. Doesn't even show the 3DS logo animation. The filesystems are pretty much the same, the RSF is also the same, only thing changed is the injected ROM. SO why it works with JPN version and not EUR version?UPDATE: Nevermind.
Found out where the issue is. The EXHEADER has the issue, although I have no idea what the issue is. But managed to 'take a detour' in the problem by using the EXHEADER from the JAPANESE version. How to convert decrypted or encrypted CIA to 3DS? Im on 9.0 EUR firmware (NEW 3DS).I want to backup/store all my games in CIA format on my external HDD BUT decrypted CIAs for numerous reasons:1. CIA games are smaller in size2.
Clone this wiki locally. 3dssimplecia will ask for a folder, It will automaticly pick the roms folder, so just hit the button folder select NO need to type anything! Then it will ask for a folder where to store the ncchinfo file, just hit the save button again, you don't have to type anything! Now, remove the SD/MicroSD from your (N)3DS(XL).
CIA format in general is better, more flexible for numerous reasons3. If the CIA games are decrypted it would be easy to make 'game hacks' and to convert them into 3DS format without Xorpada (if I ever change my mind).I used Decrypt9 in Homebrew launcher to decrypt my CIA and after that i converted the CIA into 3DS but the game wont load as 3DS. How to propertly decrypt/convert the CIA files? Click to expand.Fuh. Would test it when i get home thenThis is Only thing that work for me.I try to use some other tutorials, but it's failed to convert.Oh, Simple CIA converter from Riku works, but i don't need region free optionGreat app, thanks!Well. Installed successfully. But when run it get black screen with message to shut down 3ds or contact supportIr's 7.x game key, can it be done with 'ncchinfo (4.xx)'?I have old 3ds eur on 4.3 sysnandAll ok, disable fw spoof and all worked!
Sorry for trouble and thanks for help). Question, after converting to CCI, where does the file go? I looked through the entire disk after running the CIA to CCI function, and there were no.CCI files. I made sure to install Python, yes.Edit: Apparently it was just some technical hiccup, it worked fine on the second round.
- Select ALL xorpads and move them to your xorpads folder where you placed 3dssimplecia.exe. Now go back to your 3DS Simple CIA Conveter program (you sure have left open, if not restart it) Select 'Convert 3DS ROM to CIA' a windows pop up to select a folder, leave it like it is and press 'Select folder'. No need to type anything!
- Download 3DS CIAs 3ds cia pokemon fire emblem 'fire emblem' rom.cia.3ds cfw homebrew jailbreak root nintendo download fbi devmenu emulator tutorial 下載 descargar games files juegos convert cias iso torrent installer mario zelda.
Although, the CIA file was encrypted anyways, so the CCI file was worthless. Still though, no problems otherwise. And, thanks for the tool!Edit again: Apparently it wasn't just a hiccup. The file now refuses to work at all, just says 'Congratulations You're Done' after doing nothing. Getting somewhat vexed.
I know this question must have been asked (and answered) a million of times, but.The more i read online the less i understand. I have some 3ds roms that i want to convert in cia to play online without worries. Now, i read that thx to a program called '3DS Simple CIA Converter' i should be able to do it, but i should create the xorpads too. For the second step, i saw that i have to install rxtools, and then with this xorpads i'll be able to create the cia with safe online play. But.i read about rxtools having his emunand, the same as the gateway (that i own) and i don't want to create some strange behaviour with my beloved flashcard. Can someone explain how to install rxtools in a safe way or how can i play online without worries with an alternative metod? Thx in advance, hope the post does not violate any rule in the forum.

WAIT, WAIT, WAIT!You both seem a little bit confused right nowFirst of all, short explanation about Xorpads:Xorpads are something like 'decryption keys' for encrypted partitions in a.3ds or.cia file. In order to convert.3ds to.cia files, you need to decrypt the contents of the.3ds file and you achieve that with xorpads. In order to convert a.3ds file, you DO need those xorpads (or you can use rxTools to decrypt the.3ds file directly; in that case rxTools 'applies those xorpads directly' to the.3ds file and saves the result). You simply cannot convert a normal.3ds file (as they are usually encrypted) to a.cia file without decrypting it somehow first. The simplest way would be to download ready-to-go.cia files from that famous ISO site on the web about the 3DS.

If you use ready-to-go CIA files, you don't need rxTools at all.Furthermore, there's nothing to be afraid. As you already read, rxTools (which is a CFW) and Gateway use the same emunand.
In fact, every CFW and Gateway use the same emunand partition. You won't mess anything up with using rxTools on your console. But if you really want to avoid that, you can also use for xorpad generation or.3ds file decryption (which is what I use by the way, works fine).@escequi: Zero-key encrypted roms can be converted without Xorpads because there is no 'key' at allXorpads are what there name says: Pads (= keys) for a xor operation (exclusive or).

If every bit of the key for a xor operation is zero, the input doesn't change at all, so zero-key encryption basically means unencrypted.
