Star Wars Battlefront 2 Heroes List
Star Wars Battlefront 2 has triple the locations, heroes, and vehicles of its predecessor. As well as the game’s single-player campaign, there are five multiplayer modes; Starfighter Assault, Galactic Assault, Blast, Strike, and Heroes vs Villains, which pits heroes from both sides of the force against one another.
. Warning: Star Wars Battlefront 2 single-player spoilers follow.Star Wars Battlefront 2 fixed one major problem with the the initial reboot and that’s by adding a single-player campaign. The campaign is surprising solid and there’s certainly a lot to enjoy if you’re a Star Wars fan.
To top it all off, the story is also officially in the new Star Wars canon established after the Disney takeover. If you’re interested, there’s also a tie-in book to the game that follows the events of the Inferno Squad before the story unfolds in this game.EA promised there would be playable heroes in the campaign and they have delivered in that regard.
If you count her as one, most of the game will be played through the eyes of Iden Versio, the commander of the feared Inferno Squad and also a hero in multiplayer. Not too far into the story, we get our first taste of a lightsaber as we take control of Luke Skywalker and fulfill our dream of slicing through hordes of stormtroopers. Unfortunately that’s the only time we get to use a lightsaber until the last mission.Weirdly enough, for a game that is supposed to be focused on the Empire, we sure do find ourselves controlling mostly Rebel heroes.
Thankfully, the use of heroes helps break up the monotony of playing a typical shooter campaign. By seeing these fan favorite characters it truly helps this game feel like a Star Wars game. Here’s the full list of heroes we’ll get to control in Star Wars Battlefront 2’s campaign, in order of appearance:. Iden Versio.
Luke Skywalker. Princess Leia.
Han Solo (plus the Millennium Falcon). Lando. Kylo RenKylo Ren’s appearance in the campaign was a welcome addition as we didn’t expect to see him at all.
Weirdly enough, he is also the only dark side character we use in the campaign. It probably doesn’t help that Darth Vader and the Emperor are already dead at this point in the story.Kylo Ren’s appearance helps to further bridge the gap from Return of the Jedi to The Force Awakens. We do know that Iden Versio will return in future single-player DLC which sort of spoils the ending of the game since we know Iden makes it through to the end. There are 13 missions in total for the campaign so having all these heroes really helps you power through the content. Just when the game begins to drag on, you’ll quickly be picked up by playing as a hero and having access to all of those power ups. Having a bearded Han Solo is just icing on the cake. It’s important to do the campaign because not only does it give you a decent story but it will also be a good supply of credits to get you started in the multiplayer mode.
Finishing the campaign gives you several thousand credits which can be used to unlock Iden Versio for multiplayer or you can save up for some of the more expensive heroes. For more and in general stay with us here at Heavy.
